Dunster House, Harvard College
I have served as a residential advisor and tutor in Dunster House for the past three years. In this role, I've advised Dunster students on applying for major academic fellowships including the Marshall and the Rhodes, applying to graduate school, making career decisions, choosing an academic concentration, and simply finding their place at Harvard and in the House. As a music tutor, I play the piano for House events and help organize concerts in the house. As a fellowships tutor, I help write supporting letters for Dunster students competing in national fellowship competitions and prepare them for external fellowship interviews. I have also worked with the fellowships office to help evaluate and endorse students in various fellowships competitions.
Harvard Philosophy Department
As undergraduate studies fellow, I run the philosophy department's senior thesis workshop, guiding students on a year-long individual research project and giving them a venue to present and receive feedback on their work. I also provide advising in the philosophy major and offer special administrative support to the undergraduate studies team.
Harvard English Department
I advised Jonathan Schneiderman's English senior thesis, "Higher Than A Throne: Essays on Democracy and the American Novel," with Jesse McCarthy during the 2024 academic year. It was awarded the Hoopes Prize, the Bell Prize, and the Sohier Prize.
Harvard-MIT Graduate Conference
I helped organize the 2023 Harvard-MIT graduate conference.
Harvard History of Philosophy Workshop
I helped Jeffrey McDonough organize this workshop from the fall of 2019 until 2022.
Harvard Graduate Student Union
I have served as the Sergeant-at-Arms for the HGSU since the fall of 2024.
